The 2nd in a series of finely balanced figures, this irish limestone figure balances horizontally over a large rock from my local beach.
Inspired by ads on Instagram for a “you too can be like this” Calisthenics program. I am fascinated by the strength and poise achieved by these Calisthenics athletes. To attempt the same delicate pose & balance in stone was an enjoyable challenge.
This piece will be at home in any garden, or large indoor space
