Icarus
An intricate limestone piece. This is a theme that has been with me for many years. I equate the Icarus myth with the artist lifestyle. Chasing a dream, perhaps dreaming too big and just as we think we reached the top, down we fall!
I remember learning about Greek mythology as a kid. It was fantastic, just the stuff to fuel an active imagination. It seems I haven’t grown up yet, Icarus and Atlas still fascinate me.
