A series of male figures interacting with pedestals. This time a man leans casually against a pedestal.
These pieces came to me a counter series to “lady with a pedestal” series, I wondered how the poses would differ, if Male/female bias and prejudice would come from my subconscious.
This piece was made from Butler’s grove limestone (kilkenny marble) in 2020. First shown as part of a sculpture trail in kilkenny city. The home of butlers grove limestone , and displayed in the beautiful gardens of Butler house.
